ProcessEach grading period during the school year, teachers at participating elementary schools identify their students who quality for the Triple "A" Achiever Awards based on the program criteria. Love Helps, inc. provides teachers with award certificates for each award winning child. Each award certificate contains a letter of commendation from a local leader such as, Governor Phil Bredesen or Mayor Karl Dean. Service AreaThis program is on-going and is conducted by Love Helps, inc. at no charge to schools. Public, elementary schools in Middle Tennessee may contact us for a Triple "A" Achiever Awards Program Request Package. Our primary service area for this program is currently Metropolitan Nashville/Davidson County, Tennessee. StatisticsDuring the 2008-2009 school year, there were 18 Metro. Nashville Public Schools who are participating in the Triple "A" Achiever Awards program. During each grading period we distributed over 2,800 award certificates and personal letters to students in grades K-4th who were doing well in school with the help of over 270 volunteers. Last year, over 11,000 awards and over 33,000 personal cards and letters were distributed to more than 4,600 students with wonderful feedback from teachers! Since 1996, over 382,000 awards, cards and letters have been distributed to Nashville's public elementary school students. |
