More than 30 volunteers from HCA arrived at our office recently as part of HCA's Caring for the Community Day!  Volunteers from HCA's various offices and affiliates prepared 6,000 encouraging cards with prizes for elementary students at this year's 10 Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools participating in our Triple "A" Achiever® Awards program. Volunteers also prepared 600 handwritten, notes of encouragement to the classroom teachers at the 10 participating MNPS schools as well.  

The cards prepared by the volunteers will be distributed later this school year to students who are doing well in academics, attendance and attitude each grading period at their school.  We expect to recognize and encourage about 2,000 students in grades K–4th for their hard work and good progress!
