We are now recuiting volunteers to read for 15 minutes around lunchtime once a week for at least a couple of months to classroom of kindergarten students at a participating Metropolitan Nashville Public School.  We provide training and the books and do the scheduling.  Volunteers start in October and read in the same class on the same day at the same school each week.  Volunteers get to know the teacher and students and become a valuable part of their school year by promoting literacy and student achievement through the stories read and behavior modeled each week.
